WAM! Three Women Artist Masters Display Work at MA Until May 9

The Manassas Campus is pleased to exhibit the work of three nationally acclaimed women artists, the group called WAM-Women Artists Masters. The prolific three includes Debra Keirce (oils), Carrie Waller (water color) and Maria Bennett-Hock (portrait). The show decorates the second floor of Colgan Hall and will be on display until May 9.

Debra Keirce
“Using oil colors, I paint highly defined realistic artwork from 2 inches to 4 feet tall. My still life, portrait, landscape, animal and miniature paintings are in private, government, corporate and museum collections across the world. Often, people see a piece that urges them to ask if I can paint it in a different size or color. The answer is always yes! I delight in painting commissions.”

Carrie Waller
Carrie is a watercolor artist working in a realistic, detailed style. Her studies in Interior Design and Graphic Design as well as her time spent living in Europe an Asia have influenced her as an artist. Her unique works are bold, vibrant and dramatic. Carrie has won numerous awards and has been published in many publications.

Maria Bennett-Hock
Maria Bennett Hock uses figures and portraits to paint concept pieces that tell a story. A cursory glance will let you see the picture, but not the story; these pieces are to be read. She uses the facial features in her paintings to capture attention and allow the viewer to deduce the story behind the painting.
