NOVA Fact: Average Credit Hour Load

Between fall 2017 and fall 2021, the average credit hour among for first-time in college, full-time students increased from 13.7 credits to 14.0 credits. During this time, the average credit hour load among all full-time students at the College also increased, from 13.7 credits to 13.9 credits.

Between fall 2017 and fall 2021 the average credit hour load among first-time in college, part-time students was unchanged at 4.9 credits. During this time, the average credit hour load among all part-time students at the College decreased from 5.8 credits to 5.6 credits.
