AN History Prof. to Discuss Book, Enemies Among Us, at Patrick Henry Library, Tonight at 7

Annandale History Professor John Schmitz will discuss his book, Enemies Among Us: the relocation, internment, and repatriation of German, Italian, and Japanese Americans during the Second World War. The event will be held at the Patrick Henry Library Meeting Room (101 Maple Ave., E, Vienna, Va.) this evening, June 14, from 7 p.m. until 8:30 p.m.

In Enemies Among Us, Schmitz examines the causes, conditions and consequences of America’s selective relocation and internment of its own citizens and enemy aliens, as well as the effects of internment on those who experienced it.

Registration is required. There are 20 seats available.
