Free Conference! Global Council for Science and the Environment (GCSE)

This week, the Global Council for Science and the Environment (GCSE) will host the GCSE 2022 Annual Conference from Tuesday, June 21 to Friday, June 24. This conference is completely virtual and includes expert speakers sharing their knowledge and work on biodiversity, conservation science, and climate change. Join GCSE to explore new technological advancements, innovative policy solutions and community initiatives to take action to address contemporary environmental challenges. 

Speakers include Ibrahim Thiaw (UNCCD) and Elizabeth Mrema (UNCBD) as representatives from the United Nations, a panel of officials from the White House and Congress which includes Representative Melanie Stansbury (New Mexico) and Wahleah Johns (Director of the US Dept of Energy – Indian Energy Policy and Programs) along with a cohort of scientific experts and community leaders from around the globe featuring Atossa Soltani, President of the Amazon Watch and Sir Partha Dasgupta, author of The Economics of Biodiversity
