NOVA Seeks Interim AVP of Student Support Services, Interest Deadline Extended to July 7
As we congratulate Dr. Richmond Hill on his appointment serve as the interim provost of the Woodbridge Campus, the Office of Enrollment Management and Student Success (EMSS) is seeking an interim associate vice president for student support services. The interim AVP for student support services will report to the vice president of EMSS and provide leadership and support to staff in Military and Veteran Services, Accommodations and Accessibility Services, Wellness and Mental Health, Title IX, Financial Stability and Advocacy Center, CCAMPIS and Great Expectations.
The interim AVP for student support services must hold a master’s degree in a related field from a regionally accredited institution and have at least three years of progressive administrative responsibility, including compliance program oversight, personnel supervision and budget management. Acting pay, in accordance with VCCS policy, will be provided for the duration of this appointment.
NOVA employees who meet these qualifications, understand the requirements and wish to be considered for the role of interim AVP for Student Support Services should submit a one-page letter of interest including qualifications to Rhina Alvarado (ralvarado@nvcc.edu) no later than the extension date, Thursday, July 7 by 5 p.m. The interim AVP for student support services will be selected and appointed by the vice president from the pool of qualified individuals expressing interest.
