National Minority Mental Health Month
National Minority Mental Health Month has been observed every July since 2008, and is intended to “bring awareness to the unique struggles that racial and ethnic minority communities face regarding mental illness in the United States.”
You can learn more about the importance of National Minority Health Month through the U.S. Department of Health.
And always remember that the Office of Wellness and Mental Health is an important resource for all NOVA staff, faculty, and students.
