Save the Date: NOVA Convocation Week, Tuesday, August 16 – Thursday, August 18

We’re excited to share that NOVA’s College-wide Convocation will be held at 9:00 a.m. on Tuesday, August 16. Faculty and staff are welcome to attend in person at the Rachel M. Schlesinger Concert Hall and Arts Center, located on NOVA’s Alexandria Campus or virtually from their office.

Please mark your calendars for the following Convocation Week events coming in August:

Tuesday, August 16

• College Convocation: 9:00 – 11:30 a.m.
• New Faculty Orientation: 12:00 noon to 4:00 p.m. for new full-time teaching faculty

Wednesday, August 17

• Campus Convocations, activities for all faculty and staff

Thursday, August 18

• Discipline Group Meetings: 9:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.

**Each discipline group will decide if they meet in-person or via zoom.

Please look out for more detailed information on speakers, topics and specific meeting locations in early August!
