Free BIO-141/NAS-2 Workshop for NOVA Nighthawks
Beginning this fall, students wishing to enroll in BIO-141, Human Anatomy & Physiology I, must first show a mastery of several topics (chemistry, cells and inheritance). There are several ways to accomplish this:
1) Complete a BIO-101 course with a grade of C or higher
2) Complete a NAS-2 course with a passing grade or
3) Complete a placement exam with a grade of 75% or higher
In order to help prepare students to take the placement exam and/or identify topics that they may need to review, we are offering a free BIO-141/NAS-2 workshop. The workshop will cover chemistry, cells and inheritance offered over Zoom. The three-hour sessions will feature lecture, worksheets and practice quizzes.
The BIO-141/NAS-2 workshop is scheduled for July 25 through July 28, from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. Any student wishing to register for the workshop can self-enroll at https://learn.vccs.edu/enroll/LGDABX
