MEC Seeks Interim Dean of Student Success–Express Interest by July 25

The Medical Education Campus seeks a NOVA team member to serve as interim dean of student success from August through December 31, 2022. The dean of student success reports to the provost and has the responsibility for the following areas: Academic Success Tutoring Center, Open Computer Lab, Testing, Student Life, Campus Student Support and Counseling SDV Instruction. The interim dean of student success will work closely with campus peers and college-wide staff to advance student success initiatives. The interim dean must hold a master’s degree from a regionally accredited institution in a related field and have at least three years of progressive administrative responsibility, including program oversight, strategic planning, personnel supervision and budget management.

NOVA employees who meet these qualifications, understand the requirements and wish to be considered for the role of interim dean of student success should submit a one-page letter of interest to Ms. Beverly Tsikata (btsikata@nvcc.edu) in the MEC Provost’s Office no later than July 25 at 12 p.m. Please include the subject line “Interim Dean of Student Success” in your email. The interim dean of student success will be selected by the MEC provost from the pool of qualified individuals expressing interest.
