Faculty: Career Services Wants to Partner with You!

As summer quickly passes and we approach the 2022-2023 academic year, remember that Career Services is always here to help! We ask faculty to please consider adding the following statement to your course syllabi in an effort to increase student awareness about career exploration, development and planning resources available at NOVA:

NOVA Career Services Statement: The College is committed to providing career services to all students as part of the comprehensive educational journey. Career Services assists students with exploring, developing and setting goals related to each student’s unique educational and academic needs. These services include career assessments, occupational information, goal setting, planning and employment resources. Students can request an appointment with a career counselor.

Workshops: The Career Counseling team is also available and eager to provide a variety of workshops to groups of students, faculty or staff! We offer several workshops purposed to inform, empower and guide students to make thoughtful career decisions. As you prepare your syllabi for the fall 2022 semester, please let us know if you are interested in experiencing one of our workshops or presentations by submitting our workshop request form.
