Congratulations to NOVA’s First Class of Career-Up Fellows!
Congratulations to the inaugural class of Career-Up Fellows! Career Up is a program sponsored by Career Services that focuses on career exploration, career planning and life success skills for first-generation students at NOVA. Recently, the first cohort successfully completed an intensive, five-week program that helped prepare them for future career opportunities and success.
The Career Up Summer Institute is intended for new and continuing first-generation students, including VASA students. It provides career exploration, career planning and life success skills. Upon completion of all program requirements, students are awarded a $1,000 stipend on their NOVA account and a Career-Up certificate.
