NOVA Foodies: Join Virginia Cook-Along

Cook-Along: Live Your Best Life with Virginia Food and Wine! The DHRM Office of Workforce Engagement and the Engage Anywhere team are pleased to present an evening virtual and interactive cook-along event highlighting Virginia produce and wines. This event will be led by Tassie Pippert, producer and host of the award-winning PBS cooking show, Un’Wined!

On Thursday, August 11, from 5:30 p.m. until 7 p.m., Tassie, the culinary lab coordinator for James Madison University’s Hart School of Hospitality, will guide us through the preparation of the menu with wine pairings. If time allows, there may be an opportunity for a question-and-answer session.

  • Salad and Focaccia with Chardonnay
  • Smoked Paprika Chicken with Truffle Mashed Potatoes and Bacon, Leek and Corn Sauté with Pinot Noir
  • Easy Blender Mousse with Fresh Berries
