Tomorrow, August 16: NOVA’s Fall 2022 Convocation!

The new academic year is upon us, and our annual faculty/staff kick-off event, the 2022 Fall Convocation, is tomorrow! Convocation provides faculty and staff with an infusion of excitement and energy as we enter the new year.

Tuesday, August 16

• 8:15 a.m.:  On-site check-in opens
• 9 a.m. until 11:30 a.m.:  Faculty/Staff 2022 Fall Convocation, Rachel M. Schlesinger Concert Hall and Arts Center, Alexandria Campus
  You can attend in person or via livestream.

  Please note:  It is required for faculty to attend Convocation, either in person or virtually. It is optional for adjunct faculty and staff, but all are welcome. NOVA will close all offices from 8 a.m. until 12 p.m. on August 16 to make it possible for faculty and staff to attend in person if they would like to. Here is the livestream link.

• 12 p.m. until 4 p.m.: New Faculty Orientation (newly hired faculty only)

Wednesday, August 17

• Campus Convocations: Watch for information from your Provost.

Thursday, August 18

• 10 a.m. until 12 p.m.:  Discipline Group Meetings
