Fall Semester Cafeteria and Bookstore Hours: UPDATE

An updated message from your campus cafeterias and bookstores regarding fall operating hours:

Food and Dining

  • Annandale – Nighthawk Café by Surefire – will be OPEN for the fall semester (in the CF building). Hours starting August 22 will be 8 a.m. until 4 p.m., Monday through Thursday. The updated menu features a variety of protein bowls, sandwiches and entrees. Snacks and beverages are also available.
  • Loudoun and Woodbridge – Nighthawk Café by Pokemoto – will re-open for the fall semester on August 22 (in LC and WAS buildings). Hours will be 8 a.m. until 2 p.m., Monday through Thursday. The updated menu features a variety of poke bowls, wraps and rotating daily/weekly specials. Snacks and beverages are also available.
  • Alexandria – Nighthawk Café by Pokemoto (AA building)– Due to staffing issues, the café will re-open September 6 and hours will be 8 a.m. until 2 p.m., Monday through Thursday. The menu will feature a variety of poke bowls, wraps and rotating daily/weekly specials.
  • Manassas – Nighthawk Café (MH building) – Due to staffing issues, the café will re-open September 6 and hours will be 8 a.m. until 2 p.m., Monday through Thursday. As a result of customer feedback, the new menu will include traditional café fare – burgers, sandwiches, hot dogs, pizza and fries.

For August 22 through September 1, while the Nighthawk Cafés at Alexandria and Manassas are closed, we are working to provide food trucks on-site. Stay tuned for the truck schedule.

Barnes & Noble Fall hours

  • Bookstore Hours – August 15 through September 2
    (Pre-Rush/Rush Back-to-School weeks 1 & 2)

    • Monday through Thursday, 8:30 a.m. until 7 p.m.
    • Friday, 8:30 a.m. until 2 p.m.
    • Saturday, 10 a.m. until 3 p.m.* (*8/20, 8/27 only)
    • Closed Sundays

All Bookstores Closed Monday, September 5 for Labor Day

Starting September 6 – Resume normal fall bookstore hours at all locations – Hours will be reviewed based on in-store traffic and may be adjusted.

  • Monday through Thursday 8:30 a.m. until 5:30 p.m.
  • Friday 8:30 a.m. until 2 p.m.
  • Closed Saturday/Sunday
