Gratitude and Thanks…to You!

Today’s topic is gratitude.

Thank you for all you are doing this first week of fall semester to welcome our students (back) into our community.

Thank you for the thought and effort that you have put into your courses, for the hours you have spent helping our students prepare for the semester, for making all our campuses inviting and welcoming, for reaching out to new colleagues and checking in with longtime friends, for every gesture of kindness and care you extend in a whirlwind week.

I am grateful for the energy, expertise, intelligence, passion and commitment you bring to all you do. Because of you, our college shines with brilliant hope and opportunity. You make us boldly NOVA.
