Print, Copy and Scan with ACEPrint!

August 23, 2022 / General NOVA News

ACEPrint is NOVA’s print, copy and scan service with Canon printers/copiers and Pharos software. You can use your NOVACard or the Pharos app to release your documents from any ACEPrint/Canon copier/printer on any campus.

On all campuses (including Pender), this service allows a student, faculty or staff member to print from anywhere – to anywhere. This means that you can print from your computer (if you have the ACEPrint drivers installed (“Pender ACEPrint BW” and “Pender ACEPrint Color” in your printer selection drop down)); upload your document to a website using the Pharos app (App Store or Google Play) or email your document to aceprintmobile@nvcc.edu and visit any available Canon to release your document with your NOVACard.

More information about the ACEPrint program is available here (including openly accessible printer locations and a short video on how to use it).

Additionally, if you have forgotten or misplaced your NOVACard, you can release your documents through the Pharos App via your mobile device. This is a touchless release system and the steps to do this are here.

For all users, enrollment in the ACEPrint software is automatic. Students are automatically enrolled once they register for a NOVACard, and faculty/staff are automatically enrolled whenever they are added to HRMS.

For faculty and staff, the charging process has been centralized. Faculty and staff choose “Use a Budget Code” when accessing the copier/printer functions. The department you see on the screen is correct and is a reflection of HRMS data and doesn’t impact your usage of the print system or its charging mechanisms because of changes that were made last year. If you see “Use a Personal Account,” this means that you have put money on your NOVACard (steps are here) and are able to print documents for personal use using your own money.

For any issues, including if you don’t see the “ACEPrint” selections in your printer list, please submit a help ticket to askaceprint@nvcc.edu or visit www.nvcc.edu/novacard for phone contact information and live chat support.

If you need to print a large number of pages, course packs or professionally finished, production type printed documents (think: signs, marketing posters, large banners, bound materials or any high-quality paper), NOVA Printing Services is available to support. Specific products are listed in their storefront at NOVA Printing Services (must be logged in to NOVANet).
