Annandale Center for Contemplative Practice Fall Workshop Series

August 24, 2022 / Events

Drs. Cheri Lemieux Spiegel (English) and Paul Fitzgerald (Biology) are pleased to announce two workshop series offered through the Annandale Center for Contemplative Practice (ACCP) this fall semester. The first series, “DEI on the Inside,” is offered with support of the NOVA Foundation through a DEI InNOVAtion grant. This set of offerings will consist of four separate workshops, which can stand alone or build upon one another depending on the availability and interests of participants. To read about and register for the “DEI on the Inside” offerings, please visit our DEI Eventbrite Site.

The second set of workshops is a series on compassion practices! By popular demand, the ACCP is bringing back several successful offerings from the last academic year. Join us for sessions focused on Mindful Awareness, Nonviolent Communication and Boundaries, all building from principles of mindful self-compassion.

The workshops listed above are all offered in person on the Annandale Campus, at the Annandale Center for Contemplative Practice (ACCP), which is in CM-332. Registration is required and all participants will receive a vegetarian boxed lunch.
