The Office of Wellness and Mental Health Seeks Interim Director
The Division of Enrollment Management and Student Success is seeking an interim director for the Office of Wellness and Mental Health. This position provides oversight, support and programming for student wellness and mental health. Responsibilities include the following: administer and manage Maxient (NOVA’s student case management system); collaborate with academic deans; deans of student success; the Office of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion and Enrollment Management and Student Success leadership to implement intervention plans for identified students; serve as the primary liaison for students with community mental health agencies; develop campus-specific mental health resources and outreach/educational seminars for students.
The interim director must hold a master’s degree from a regionally accredited institution in a related field and have at least three years of progressive administrative responsibility in an environment focused on student supports. Acting pay, in accordance with VCCS policy, will be provided for the duration of this appointment.
