Reminder for Classified Staff: Complete Your Self-Assessment by Sept. 9
As a reminder for all non-probationary classified staff, per the notification on August 17, please complete your annual Employee Self-Assessment Form by Friday, September 9. Completed self-assessments should be provided to your supervisor. Any self-assessment submitted after the September 9 deadline may be accepted by your supervisor at their discretion. Self-Assessment forms are retained in the supervisory file and not sent to HR.
The self-assessment process provides employees the opportunity to actively engage in the evaluation process. The self-assessment can help you to reflect on your performance over the past year and to document your accomplishments and their impact on your department. The information you provide in the self-assessment should reflect tasks, work and accomplishments from the current performance evaluation cycle (October 25, 2021, to October 24, 2022). You should be objective about your performance and stay focused on results. For additional instructions on how to complete the self-assessment please refer back to the August 17th email communication from Daniel Kaufmann.
All classified, non-probationary staff must receive an annual evaluation. This includes employees who completed their probationary period on or before September 25, 2022. Your supervisor will schedule a meeting with you to discuss your annual evaluation before the evaluation deadline. Completed annual evaluations are due to Human Resources no later than October 24, 2022.
If you have any questions about the annual classified staff evaluation or the self-assessment process, please contact Employeerelations@nvcc.edu.
