Spring 2023 ADVANCE Declaration Opens Sept. 15

The Spring 2023 ADVANCE Declaration will open on Thursday, September 15. At that time, students can access the ADVANCE Declaration on the ADVANCE website. Students will have until December 1 to complete a Declaration.

To be eligible for ADVANCE, students must:

Have a minimum 2.00 cumulative grade point average for those with college credit
Be enrolled in NOVA associate degree curricular program
Have earned no more than 30 college credits at the time of submission of the ADVANCE Declaration

As a reminder, admission into ADVANCE is now a two-step process:

Step 1 – Complete the ADVANCE Declaration Form: Students have until December 1, 2022 to submit a Declaration for spring 2023. Students will have the opportunity for career exploration through our new ADVANCE Orientation Canvas page and to discuss pathway options with our Pre-Pathway Exploratory Coach.
Step 2 – Select an ADVANCE Pathway: Once a student has been admitted to ADVANCE, they must then select an ADVANCE pathway by December 15.
