Want to Brush Up on Your Respondus Skills? Trainings, Sept. 20 and 21

Are you a faculty member wanting to brush up on your Respondus lock-down browser or Respondus monitor skills? VCCS can help! 

VCCS will be hosting two identical, faculty-focused trainings on:

  • Tuesday, Sept. 20 from 8 p.m. until 9 p.m. or
  • Wednesday, Sept. 21 from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m.

Topics will include:

  • How to use LockDown Browser with Canvas quizzes to promote academic integrity in virtual proctored testing environments
  • How to use Respondus Monitor with Canvas tests  in non-proctored environments, to protect exam integrity and confirm student identity
  • Reviewing Respondus Monitor faculty-controlled options (including turning off environmental room scan)
  • The student perspective of using both applications
  • Efficient review of the assessment data collected, including student videos and automated flagging
  • Best practices, resources, and tips for success with both applications
