AAPI Intercultural Center Presents Dr. Bharat Rathod, Sept. 27

The AAPI Intercultural Center is pleased to host its first presentation, “When Stereotypes Follow You: South Asian Hierarchies in the U.S.” by Dr. Bharat Rathod. Dr. Rathod will discuss issues of caste among South Asian communities in the United States, as well as casteism and its parallels with racism. The event will be on September 27, at 1 p.m. at Annandale Campus, CA-302. 

Afterwards, Dr. Rathod, along with staff from the Center and the Office of DEI, will hold a Dialogue on Casteism with students, staff and faculty at the AAPI Intercultural Center (CFH-206) from 3 p.m. until 4:30 p.m. Pizza and refreshments provided.
