Access College Doors with Your Cell Phone with HID Mobile
Northern Virginia Community College has a new method of access control called HID Mobile. With this new system, faculty and staff can now access secured doors (only the doors that they have been granted access to) by using just their cell phone. It’s easy, convenient, boosts efficiency and maximizes security.
Use of this app is not a requirement, only another tool that you can use for Electronic Door Access.
Below is a list of cell phones supported by the college and deemed to be compatible with the latest version of the HID Mobile Access app.
Devices not listed, although compatible will not be supported by the college. Please understand that due to the vast number of devices available, their countless subversions, country-specific settings and network operator-specific settings, HID cannot test all available variations, which means we cannot support all cell phones.
- Apple
- Most cell phones with Android Operating system (Samsung, LG, etc)
