EMSS Seeks Interim Director of Operations: Express Interest by 5 p.m. Today!
The Division of Enrollment Management and Student Success (EMSS) is seeking an interim director of operations. This position reports to the vice president of EMSS and assists the vice president with short- and long-term planning and day-to-day operations of the division. The interim director oversees operational planning; supervises staff; manages projects as well as service and process improvement; coordinates policies and procedures; oversees space management; supports training; coordinates the division budget and manages other special projects related to organizational needs. The interim director serves as a liaison between central administrative leadership in EMSS and the College, campuses and EMSS college offices to ensure effective coordination and completion of essential campus projects and operations. The interim director plays an integral role in process improvement and business continuity planning, particularly as it relates to operations and logistics.
The interim director must hold a minimum of a master’s degree in a related field from a regionally accredited institution, have supervisory and project management experience, and have at least three years of progressively responsible relevant experience. Acting pay, in accordance with VCCS and/or DHRM policy, will be provided for the duration of this appointment.
