Student Aigul Egemberdieva Wins 1st Place in AAPI Asian Ghost Story Contest!

Aigul Egemberdieva, a second-year liberal arts student, won 1st place last week in the AAPI Intercultural Center’s Asian Ghost Short Story contest, with her story “Don’t Let Go of Love.” Set on the banks of Lake Issyk Kul in Kyrgyzstan, Aigul’s piece is a captivating story that refers to the Kyrgyzstani legend of a girl who sacrifices herself for true love.
