Research Workshop for Students, Nov. 14
Research is often the lifeblood of a college education. It is a critical component for professors and others to take your work seriously. To aid students in the pursuit of excellence in their research, the Office of Academic Affairs is hosting a virtual workshop, “Fact or Fiction: Myths, Legends and the Reality of Research.” This event will be held on Monday, November 14 from 2 p.m. until 3 p.m. on Zoom.
We will discuss what research is, the benefits of thorough research and who can help them when they are working on a project and need help. Both a NOVA OSI Researcher and a former NOVA student will share their own experiences with time for questions and answers.
If you have a project or paper due this semester, please encourage your students to attend.
