Is Grade Setup Weighing on You? Come to the new Canvas in 20: Assignment Groups & Weighted Grading webinar. This session will discuss the differences between using total points vs. weighted grading in Canvas. We will then look at reasons to use assignment groups, how to create and manage them including setting rules for groups, aligning the weights or points to your syllabus to ensure Canvas calculates grades accurately. We will then view the assignment group totals and weights in the gradebook to verify the setup. Finally we will look at some considerations of managing grade setup in Canvas.
