Meet NOVA Veteran Students, Faculty and Staff
This week, the Office of Military and Veteran Services is highlighting some of our veteran students, faculty and staff. Today we’ll meet Ed Haraguchi, one of NOVA’s veteran students.
NOVA Major – I’m in the Liberal Arts program.
Branch of the military served – I served in the Army for 30 years and retired as a Colonel.
Experience at NOVA – I’m currently taking two classes: German-101 and History-101. The instructors are very good and I’ve been enjoying the classes so far. I tried to utilize my G.I. Bill at NOVA a couple of times in the past but the timing wasn’t right. I’m happy to make use of it now.
For fellow veterans – First and foremost, thank you for your service to our country. The G.I. Bill benefit is a great one to either pass on to family members or use yourself. Try to make the most of it!
If you see Ed or another veteran student around the College, take a moment to say hi and thank them for their service!
