VITA Tax Volunteer Interest Meeting, Today at 12

November 18, 2022 / Events

Do you have an interest or experience in accounting, math, business law, taxes or just helping others in your local community? Nationally known as the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program, the Internal Revenue Service is currently recruiting for those interested in becoming Certified Tax Volunteers during the 2023 tax filing season. During this interest meeting, you will learn more about becoming a tax volunteer. Volunteers will become knowledgeable in individual income tax law topics, and once trained and certified will assist NOVA students on-campus and virtually at tax filing sessions during the 2023 filing season.
