Learn About Cyber Careers at VT’s Virtual BIT-Cyber Speaker Series, Nov. 30
Students, faculty and staff are encouraged to join representatives from Virginia Tech’s Cybersecurity Management and Analytics program to learn more about cybersecurity career opportunities! The next event will be held on Wednesday, Nov. 30 from 7 p.m. until 8 p.m. via Zoom and will feature Colonel Candice Frost, who will discuss the role of women in federal cyber careers. Register here. If you need assistance with the registration process, please contact Dr. Svetlana Filiatreau, at SFiliatr@vt.edu.
As a reminder, NOVA and VT have a Guaranteed Admission Agreement (GAA) designed to assist students interested in pursuing the Business Information Technology (BIT) – Cybersecurity Management and Analytics, BS degree at VT’s Northern Virginia campus. This GAA details not only the requirements a student must meet to be granted acceptance to the program, but it also outlines the most efficient pathways they should follow to maximize the transferability of their credits (pathways are available from NOVA’s A.S. in Business Administration, and A.S. in Information Technology). This partnership provides students with the unique opportunity to earn a bachelor’s degree from VT without leaving the Northern Virginia region! Click here to learn more about GAA.
