PUP 2023 To Be Held Jan. 9 and 10–Submit A Proposal by COB Today

The Power up Your Pedagogy (PUP) Conference will be held January 9 and 10, 2023. There will be concurrent virtual sessions via Zoom on Tuesday, January 10, and we invite NOVA faculty to submit a proposal to present at PUP 2023.

We invite proposals on topics related to this year’s conference theme: Engaging Students in a Post-Pandemic Environment. We are looking for teams of NOVA faculty to collaborate on sessions showcasing teaching and learning strategies and successes to engage and empower NOVA students. Presentations will be organized as 50 minute concurrent sessions on Tuesday, January 10.

Suggested topic areas for presentations include:

  • Innovative Use of a Technology Tool/Resource in Teaching and Learning
  • Teaching Strategies for Engaging Gen Z Students
  • Culturally Responsive Teaching Practices
  • Creative Solutions for Promoting Academic Integrity through Authentic Learning Assessment
  • Innovative Online Instructional Approaches
