WO Campus Seeks Interim Dean of Student Success-Submit Letter of Interest by Dec. 2
The Woodbridge Campus seeks an interim dean of student success. The dean of student success reports to the provost and is the chief officer of services to support student learning and well-being on the campus. The dean of student success has the responsibility for the following areas: Tutoring Center, Open Computer Lab, Testing, Student Life, Campus Student Support and Counseling SDV Instruction. This person will work closely with campus peers and college-wide staff to advance student success initiatives. The interim dean must hold a master’s degree from a regionally accredited institution, five years of experience in higher education and three years of progressive administrative responsibility, including program oversight, strategic planning, personnel supervision and budget management.
NOVA employees who meet these qualifications, understand the requirements and wish to be considered for the role of interim dean of student success should submit a one-page letter of interest to Stacy Shaver (sshaver@nvcc.edu) in the Woodbridge Provost’s Office no later than COB on Friday, December 2 (note corrected date). Please include the subject line “Interim Dean of Student Success” in your email. The interim dean of student success will be selected by the Interim Woodbridge Provost from the pool of qualified individuals expressing interest.
