Interest Sessions for ODU’s Online Graduate Certificate in Community College Leadership, Today at 9
Are you interested in learning more about community college administration? Are you interested in pursuing a Ph.D. in Community College Leadership and would like to “try out” a doctoral course or two? Old Dominion University’s Online Graduate Certificate in Community College Leadership is designed for emerging leaders at community colleges or administrators who have recently transitioned to a community college from careers in other industries.
To learn more, check out one of our interest sessions this week:
- Today, December 7, 9 a.m. until 11 a.m., Loudoun Campus (LHEC-211)
The program is designed for working adults, and it is convenient and affordable. Students take live, video online courses in the evenings during the fall and spring, then participate in an internship over the summer. Courses cover:
- institutional finance, fundraising and resource management
- community college politics, policy and advocacy
- curriculum, program development and quality assurance
- leadership and organizational strategy
The 15-credit Certificate Program typically takes one-year (two courses per fall and spring semesters) or about two-years (one course per fall/spring). All credits earned in the Graduate Certificate Program are “stackable” into the Ph.D. Program upon admission.
*If you are unable to attend a session and would like more information about the certificate or Ph.D. program, please contact Dr. Mitchell Williams by email mrwillia@odu.edu.
