DHRM Financial Wellness Events and Resources: December 2022
Providing resources to help you achieve financial independence and wellness remains DHRM’s priority. VRS. As we enter into the busy holiday season, it can be easy to lose sight of our budgets and spend beyond our means. To help you maintain a healthy balance between spending and saving during the holidays, here are five fail-proof tips to live by. Employee Assistance Program: Benefits Eligible Employees. All health plans offered to state employees and their dependents have employee assistance programs (EAPs). Included are four sessions at no charge for services such as mental health, alcohol or drug abuse assessment, child or elder care, financial, grief counseling, and legal services such as estate planning.
Virginia Credit Union. Financial Independence Recap. Have you increased your net-worth statement from January 2022? Join us for our last session of the year in the series “Building Financial Wealth” where we will recap best practices implemented to build wealth. Public Service Loan Forgiveness Program. State employees may be eligible for the Public Service Loan Forgiveness Program. Keep reading to see whether you might qualify. The PSLF Program forgives the remaining balance on your Direct Loans after you have made 120 qualifying monthly payments under a qualifying repayment plan while working full-time for a qualifying employer.
