Draft Agenda for PUP 2023, Jan. 9 and 10

December 16, 2022 / Events

The Power Up Your Pedagogy (PUP) Virtual Conference will be held via Zoom on Monday, Jan. 9 and Tuesday, Jan. 10, 2023. We have spoken to many colleagues across the College and have heard your concerns about effectively engaging with NOVA students, particularly our younger GenZ students, and have chosen Engaging Students in a Post-Pandemic Environment as the theme for the 2023 PUP Conference. The PUP Opening Session on Jan. 9 will include a keynote address and workshop with Todd Zakrajsek, renowned educator and author of several books, including Teaching for Learning and The New Science of Learning.

The PUP 2023 conference program will include panel discussions, plenary presentations and concurrent sessions from colleagues from across the College, sharing experiences and ideas for using innovative teaching pedagogy and inclusive teaching practices to actively engage students in the learning process.
