January 4, 2023 / General NOVA News

Officers Moore and Tran from the Northern Virginia Community College Police Department worked alongside volunteers from The Salvation Army, United States Coast Guard, and United States Army to support The Salvation Army’s Angel Tree program. This year, more than 1,000 toys and 100 bikes were distributed to selected members of the Alexandria community who needed a little extra help during the holidays.

Major Jim Shiels of the Salvation Army (center) worked closely with NOVA police officers Jarrin Moore (L) and Tuan Tran (R) to collect toys for the children in need as part of the Salvation Army's Angel Tree Program.
