Nominate a Student for a SEAL Award by Feb. 11

Annually, the Office of Student Life hosts the SEAL Awards to honor our soaring Nighthawks for their excellence and resilience spanning the areas of service, engagement, academics and leadership. Students may be observed demonstrating these notable behaviors formally or informally, on campus or out in their community and they may be known by many people or just a few.

Please reflect on the meaningful stories and triumphs of our Nighthawks and submit your nominations using the ’22-’23 SEAL Nomination Form.

Important notes for nominating are listed below. 

  1. Login using your VCCS credentials to access the nomination form.
  2. Be sure you have the nominee’s correct email address (emplid not required)
  3. When completing the narrative portion of the form, do NOT include the nominee’s name in your wording. Please use pronouns only for the narrative portion.
  4. Submissions are due February 11, 2023.
