Reminder to Publish Canvas Courses for Spring 2023

Reminder to instructors: On Friday, Jan. 13, 2023, instructors should publish all Canvas shells for classes starting Jan. 17, 2023. 

Courses starting later than 1/17/23 should be published 3 calendar days before the start of the session. Students are directed to look for their courses at that time. Only instructors can publish courses. NOVA Canvas Support cannot publish courses on behalf of the instructors and students cannot access unpublished courses.

If you edit the course start date, students are prohibited from accessing the course until that date/time and will not have access to course announcements or Zoom links. It is recommended not to edit the course start dates for any courses starting in the first half of the semester.
