Reflecting on MLK Jr. Day of Service 2023

January 23, 2023 / Events

We began this new semester united in service as we celebrated the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Leading up to the day, food donations were collected all across NOVA, with an exceptional amount coming from our Loudoun campus. In partnership with Volunteer Fairfax we were able to turn those donations into hundreds of food packages for children in need across Fairfax county. Thank you for your contributions that continue to better our community and fuel our NOVA Serves initiatives.

Please take a moment to watch this year’s brief video message highlighting our MLK Jr. Day of Service with featured speaker, poet, and author. Mrs. Yvette Urquhart. May these words carry us into the new year and new semester feeling inspired and rejuvenated.
