OEMS to Offer C-CERT Class at Manassas Campus, March 10, 17 and 24
The Office of Emergency Management and Safety will offer faculty and staff the opportunity to attend a 3-day College Community Emergency Response Team (C-CERT) training class. This class will prepare participants for emergencies that happen at work and at home and will give you the knowledge and skills to be prepared to respond in an emergency situation! This three-day class will be held at the Manassas Campus, from 8 a.m. until 4 p.m. on Fridays, March 10, March 17 and March 24. You must attend all 3 days to become certified. The class will work through lunch each day, and OEMS recommends attendees bring a bag lunch.

This class involves both hands-on classroom work and a mock disaster scenario where you will be tested on your new skills.
Registration is limited to the first 24 people to sign up and obtain supervisors approval for attendance. Please register by emailing oem@nvcc.edu.
