Check the President’s Office NOVAnet Site for Important College Information
Today’s topic is the President’s Office NOVAnet Sharepoint site.
A number of the anonymous questions I received for this month’s office hour Zoom can be answered by documents posted on the President’s Office NOVAnet Sharepoint site, so I wanted to call your attention to this resource. My office posts memos and reports to this site to promote timely communication and support transparency in operations, and I thank Chief of Staff Tykesha Myrick for keeping the site up to date.
What’s on the President’s Office NOVAnet site? My requests of and responses to the College Senate are archived on the site, including documents like my recent memo asking the Senate, per VCCS policy, to convene an ad hoc faculty committee on the optional summer pay plan. Tuesday Topics are also archived on the site, as are Administrative Council minutes and Operational Memos. If there is additional information you would like included, please let me know.
Remember that all NOVA divisions have NOVAnet sites, and the intranet also includes the minutes of college-wide committees, ad hoc committees and working groups.
NOVAnet is a complement to the Daily Flyer: it archives essential information you need as a NOVA faculty or staff member and offers an easily accessible window into college operations. And, we’ve now made it easier than ever to access. You’ll find a link to NOVAnet at the bottom of each Daily Flyer and at the bottom of our website, under “Quick Links.” Your NOVA credentials are required to sign-in.
I thank you for your questions and look forward to talking with you Wednesday during my Office Hour Zoom.
