Microsoft Teams Conference Dial-In Enhancements Take Effect Today
No internet? No problem. Join a meeting using Microsoft Teams Audio Conferencing Dial In feature. Simply join meetings by dialing conference phone number and entering the PIN.
During the rolling policy roll-out, once your account has been updated with the new Dial-In policy, you will receive an email from “Microsoft Audio Conferencing” with subject “You now have Audio Conferencing for Microsoft-Teams – Here is your dial-in information and PIN“. It can take up to 24 hours for your account to update and receive the policy.
Once a new Audio-conferencing policy is applied, the phone number(s) defined in the policy will only be available in new meetings created by the user. Any old and recurring meetings scheduled prior to the policy will continue to show the old settings (no dial-in phone number).
