Join NOVA’s History Reading Group Meetings, Today at 11
Did you resolve to read more this year? Then join the History Reading Group! This informal gathering of NOVA faculty and staff read recently-published books by women of color (especially works of history) and discuss how the books can enhance our teaching and broader DEI work at the College. All NOVA faculty and staff are invited to join. All that is required to participate is that you have read the book in advance!
The group will meet today at 11 a.m. to discuss our February book selection, Bad Mexicans, by Kelly Lytle Hernandez
We will meet on Friday, March 3 at 11 a.m. to discuss our March book, Catherine Ceniza Choy’s, Asian American Histories of the United States (2022).
If you are not on the History Reading Group list and would like to be added, please contact Dr. Nathaniel Green at NCGreen@nvcc.edu. for the link to attend the meetings.
