Dr. Greg Evans Speaks at Manassas College Hour Collective, Feb. 15
Dr. Greg Evans, chair of the Canadian Positive Psychology Association (CPPA), will speak on Neuropsychology and Learning and evidence-based practical strategies for tapping into brain components to improve student learning. This event will be held via Zoom on Wednesday, Feb. 15, from 3 p.m. until 4 p.m.

Dr. Evans will focus on specific forms of learning and the neuropsychological foundation. This session will provide an understanding for faculty and staff on specific parts of the brain that are involved in student learning.
Dr. Evans’ primary area of expertise is in the creation, implementation and testing of positive psychology, based on intervention, programs and training. He serves as interim chair of the Canadian Positive Psychology Association (CPPA) and is also involved in numerous other boards that focus on implementing positive psychology strategies that bring about effective behavioral change. He is the founder of HEG, Inc., a company that promotes flourishing and performance in individuals, organiztions, school and communities through evidence-based assessment and strategies
