Welcome to the 2024-25 Fulbright U.S. Scholar Program Competition! February is an exciting time as the Fulbright U.S. Scholar Program competition for 2024-2025 is now open.

Wednesday, Feb. 15 at 2 p.m. – The Fulbright Scholar Program: Opportunities for 2024-25
Join us to learn what’s possible with Fulbright! The Fulbright U.S. Scholar Awards give opportunities to U.S. citizens to teach, research and carry out professional projects around the world. This webinar will explore awards open to applicants in the Fulbright U.S. Scholar competition for the 2024-25 academic year. Program staff will present offerings across all world regions and answer your questions live.
Liaison Linkups – Liaison Linkups are opportunities to meet and connect with Liaisons at other institutions. Each event will have a different theme and an opportunity to learn, network and grow in your role as Liaison:
- Thursday, Feb. 16 at 2 p.m. – February Liaison Linkup – Meet Jaclyn Assarian, recruitment specialist who will share special highlights about the Fulbright U.S. Scholar Program 2024-25 competition
- Thursday, March 16 at 2 p.m. – March Liaison Linkup – Join us for a special event with the Fulbright U.S. Student Program. Alison Glomski and Fulbright program advisers will be available to answer your questions and participate in the discussion.
Thursday, Feb. 23, Fulbright Scholar Liaison Training, Washington, D.C.
We look forward to hosting the more than 50 institutions coming to Washington D.C. for our next in person training for Scholar Liaisons. Participants will learn ways to support faculty and administrators interest in the Fulbright Program. Liaisons will have the opportunity to network and discuss best practices on how to build a Fulbright culture on their campus. Tuesday, Feb. 28 at 2 p.m. – What’s New With Fulbright
Join Julie Taylor (Fulbright Scholar Program), our colleagues Dan Kramer, (Fulbright U.S. Student Program) and Susan Muendl (Fulbright Visiting Scholar Program) to discuss Fulbright opportunities across all audiences. This webinar will be geared towards administrators and campus representatives and will also include participation from the Fulbright Specialist and Fulbright Hays Programs.
Tuesday, May 30 at 9 a.m. – Fulbright Institutional Training in Washington, D.C. (The week of NAFSA)
Location (tentative): Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial Library, Washington, D.C.
Join us to learn about the role of the Fulbright Scholar Liaison and Fulbright Program Adviser. Fulbright Commission Directors will share insight on the selection process and program priorities at this unique training.
