VCCS Offers Free Access to Optional Online DEI Professional Development Modules

This week, the Virginia Community College System (VCCS) sent a message to all VCCS employees offering free access to a collection of online professional development modules focused on diversity, equity, and inclusion.  

The modules were created by Vector Solutions, a proprietary company that provides employees of secondary and postsecondary institutions with access to a variety of online professional development education courses.

The modules are not required by the VCCS or by NOVA. 

If you have any questions or comments about the optional modules from Vector Solutions, please share your feedback with NOVA’s CDEIO who can relay feedback to the VCCS about the usefulness of the online modules. 

Alternatively, VCCS employees can also share their feedback about the optional professional development modules with Ms. Carla Kimbrough (ckimbrough@vccs.edu), the Chief Diversity Officer at the VCCS.
