Have You Heard About Hypothesis?
Hypothesis is a collaborative social annotation tool that encourages student engagement and active reading of course texts and resources. All NOVA faculty have access to Hypothesis as an external tool when setting up an assignment in Canvas. Students can annotate Hypothesis-enabled course readings collaboratively, as a whole class or in smaller groups, having conversations about the text while they are reading the text. Hypothesis is fully integrated with SpeedGrader for efficient review and grading of student annotations. See how it works in this one-minute video.
