Academic Affairs Spring 2023 Training Series

The Office of Academic Affairs will be hosting a spring 2023 training series. Please see descriptions and registration links for these trainings below. If you have any questions about the trainings, please email academics@nvcc.edu.

Transfer
Wednesday, March 22, from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m.
At this training, we will cover updates on the Passport and Uniform Certificate of General Studies, Transfer Virginia, transfer partnerships, and other transfer-related topics.

2023-2024 Academic Program Updates
Monday, March 27 from 3 p.m. until 4 p.m.
At this training, we will include updates on new programs and changes to existing programs for the 2023-2024 academic year (including Credit for Prior Learning updates), a demonstration on the proper procedure to apply program/catalog year changes in SIS, and reminders about how to submit course directives and substitutions.

Policy and Other Updates
Tuesday, March 28 from 12 p.m. until 1 p.m.
At this training, we will include updates on policies regarding discontinued programs and expired catalog years, reverse transfer, NOVA’s Honors Program, and study abroad updates.
