Keep the Lessons of National Nutrition Health Month Alive. Share Them

March 29, 2023 / Get Well

Thank you for celebrating, reflecting, and experimenting with us!   As the Month of March comes to a close, we invite you to continue the spirit of Nutrition Health Month by regularly looking at your nutrition, considering how you can positively change your habits and lifestyle; and engaging all members of the family- particularly the ”Little Ones.”

Get the Kids in the Kitchen
When children participate in the preparation and assembly of a dish, they’re more likely to try it—and like it! So, buy a tiny apron and get those kids into the kitchen.

For a few tips, strategies and/or inspiration:

  • Watch the “Cooking with Kids” video from our friends at  eatright.org.
  • Check out The Kids Cook Monday for culinary inspiration and ways to get young people excited about cooking.
  • Visit the Meatless Monday Campaign links, as they also offer tons of kid-friendly recipes designed specifically for youthful pallets and developing motor skills.
  • Revisit our nutrition articles in the Daily Flyer.

Don’t let the month of March go by without:
