April DEI Spotlight: Sexual Assault Awareness with Brittany Piper, Tomorrow at MEC

April is Sexual Assault Awareness Month, and the Office of DEI and the MEC Campus will be welcoming Brittany Piper to share her story. Join us at the MEC Tomorrow, 11 a.m. until noon in room 252.

Brittany Piper is an international activist, speaker and healing coach participating in more than 400 programs across 10 years and three continents. Her work has been recognized by the U.S. Army, the Laura Bush Institute for Women’s Health, Cosmopolitan, Elite Daily and more. A rape survivor and leading national expert and advocate on sexual violence prevention and recovery, Brittany speaks to tens of thousands of audience members each year. She is also a forensic neurobiology expert, conducting dozens of trauma-informed trainings and programs with the U.S. Army and Sex Crimes Detectives annually. Lastly, she is a trauma-informed life coach empowering survivors to heal their past, so they can thrive in the present.
